About Measurements
Vintage sizes differ greatly from modern sizes.
The following are samples of what to look for in our titles.

Women’s Garments

Bust: B34.
That means the Bust of the garment measures 34″ – Not that it will fit a 34″ Bust.

Waist: W26. Waist measurement only.
Please allow an inch or two so you can breathe in the garment.

Contemporary Women’s & Juniors Clothing will also state the actual size.

Men’s Garments

Men’s Shirts – Neck & Sleeve size: 16/34.
Men’s Jackets,Vests, & Tee Shirts: S to XXL.
Jeans & Pants: Waist & Inseam length: 34X32.

You should always allow an inch or two so you can breathe in the garment.
All measurements will be found in each description.

How I Measure
Garments are laid flat & measured from side seam to side seam.
These are doubled to give the actual circumference.
Inseams are measured from the center crotch seam to the bottom of the hem.

It should be noted that in the 1960′s women’s size standards were changed again, adding 2 inches to the bust, waist, and hips.
Through the 60′s a Size 12 would have a 32″ bust, Size 14 a 34″ bust, and so on.
In the 70′s, the standards were changed again, adding an additional 2 inches.



How I Measure Shoes
All listings give the size and detailed measurements.

Length: Heel to toe inner. (if not the inner measurement, it will be noted)
Width: The widest part Across the bottom “ball” of the foot.
Heel Height: Outer rear. From the floor to where the heel actually meets the bottom part of the shoe.
Boot Shaft: From center top of boot to where it meets the detail at the top of the foot.
